A Santa Barbara native with a lifelong passion for aesthetics, I bring over 15 years of experience in the aesthetic, and healthcare industry to Barrett Medical Aesthetics. Beginning my career in 2011 and pivoting into plastic surgery and medical aesthetics in 2013, I have dedicated my career to combining clinical expertise with a thoughtful, individualized approach to patient care. As both a registered nurse and licensed esthetician, I offer a unique perspective on aesthetics, skin health, and a balance between immediate improvements, and long term results. I love building meaningful, lasting relationships with my patients through a shared understanding of the patients goals, to create a treatment plan that evolves with their needs over time. Enhancing what makes each individual person uniquely beautiful, while maintaining natural, balanced, results. I approach each treatment with intention and genuine care.

Dr. Lori Aliksanian
Medical Director
Dr. Lori Aliksanian is a fellowship-trained physician whose deep expertise in skin healing and regenerative medicine has made her a highly sought-after injector known for her ability to restore a naturally youthful appearance without surgery.
Dr. Aliksanian's path into aesthetics began during her years as a wound specialist, where her fascination with skin integrity and the body's own regenerative potential laid the groundwork for her approach to cosmetic medicine. When patients began seeking her help for aesthetic aging concerns, she channeled that clinical knowledge into non-invasive anti-aging treatments maximizing outcomes through a uniquely science-driven lens.
She earned her MD at Ross University School of Medicine, completed a general surgery internship at the University of Maryland, a residency at Harbor-UCLA, and a fellowship in wound reconstructive surgery at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center.
She specializes in non-surgical facelifts using an extensive range of injectables including Botox®, Daxxify®, Juvéderm®, Voluma®, Vollure®, Radiesse®, Belotero®, Sculptra®, and Restylane® with a focus on preserving each patient's natural expressions while enhancing their unique beauty through the most advanced techniques available.
As a medical director and collaborator, Dr. Aliksanian brings a rare combination of surgical rigor, regenerative medicine expertise, and refined aesthetic sensibility making her a trusted partner for any med spa seeking exceptional standards of care.
